Munchkin's & Mocha - Fridays
Looking for a safe, active play opportunity for your baby, toddler, or preschooler over the colder months? Join us for Munchkins and Mocha in the gym for open play for the kiddos and coffee for the adults. Toys and coffee provided! No RSVP necessary. All caregivers are welcome. Munchkins and Mocha will be held every Friday from 9:30 - 11:00am.
Sermon Series from Isaiah
Judgment. Redemption. The coming of the Servant King. The fulfillment of God’s promises.
These are just a few of the themes found in Isaiah. Because of this, Isaiah is one of the most important books of the Bible for understanding God and God’s redemption.
Join us each Sunday from September 2026 to May 2027 as we walk through Isaiah’s grand and transformational message.
Kid Konnection
Kids preschool through 6th grade can join us on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 7:30 to learn about Elisha.
We learn about so many incredible humans - past and present - who have changes the world using their influence, their voice, their dreams, and their passion. Kids might find it hard to relate to these dreamers, though, and ask themselves, “Can God use me for something that grand?” In Up in the Air, kids will learn through the stories of Elisha that we can dream big with God, have faith in God, count on God’s promises, ask God for what we need and be used by God. The sky isn’t the limit anymore…not with God’s promises at work in our lives!

Women's Swap Meet
Bring 5 of anything you love to make, such as baked goods, candles, spice mixes, flower arrangments, garden produce, jewelry, sewn projects, home decor, plant propagations, etc. At the event you’ll get to “shop” for 5 new-to-you items brought by other ladies.
Not feeling crafty? Purchase and bring 5 of something you enjoy instead (snacks, drinks, journals).
The goal is to swap things that tell us a little about you. Items don’t need to be fancy and elaborate, simple is great!
Join Our Fall Life Groups Every Sunday Morning at 9:45 am
When you think of Sunday morning Life Groups we want you to think of two things: relationships and the Word of God. We believe that these two go hand in hand. The church is a community of people in relationship with God and with one another. The Bible informs how we are to live in these relationships. Therefore, both are extremely important if we want to grow as Christians and as a community.
There are currently 4 Life-Groups every Sunday morning, and you are invited to attend any group of your choice.
Pizza Dinner!
We are kicking off our Wednesday evening programming with a pizza dinner! Join us 5:45-6:30 PM for pizza and pop. At 6:30 PM we will begin our normal programming that includes: Kid Konnection (pre-school through 6th-grade), junior high (7th & 8th grades) and an adult study titled, How People Change.
Tailgater
Fall is coming! The weather is cooling and football season is beginning. What could be better than a tailgater?
Join us on Sunday, September 13 at 5:00 pm. We will meet in the north parking lot (along Willow Highway) for food, games, and fellowship. We will provide burgers and hot dogs with toppings, you bring your own drinks and a side to share.
Be sure to bring chairs, bikes, and anything else that is fun!
GLBC Moves to 2 Services
During the school year, we will have 2 identical worship services at 8:30 am and 10:30 am, along with and educational hour with classes for all ages at 9:45 am. Come worship with us.
Move Up Sunday!
On August 30, all children will move up to the grade level of this upcoming school year. We are looking forward to a wonderful year together!
Kona Ice Truck
Is your family ready to have some fun? The Kona Ice truck will be at GLBC in the front parking lot after the worship service on Sunday, August 23. Free Kona Ice for everyone!
Munchkins & Mocha - Bike & Trike Car Wash
Bring your bike, trike or scooter to zip around the parking lot and through our mini car wash. Wear a swim suit or just plan on getting wet!
If the weather doesn’t cooperate for this outside event we will meet for play time in the church gym.
Family Movie Night

Summer Night Lights
Cooking is more than just mixing stuff together—it takes time, creativity, care, and knowing what each ingredient brings to the table. The same is true when it comes to growing our faith!
Psalm 34:8 says “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” During our three nights together we will dive into Bible lessons that are salty, bitter, and sweet are truly discover the goodness of God. We will meet each night from 6:30pm-8:00pm for Bible lessons, crafts, snacks, and games. Click here to register for our three night event!
Munchkins and Mocha - Bubbles in Our Backyard
Bring your toddler (and siblings too!) for a fun morning of bubble blowing and popping in our large lawn. Park in the front lot and you’ll see us in the grass.

Graduation Sunday
We will recognize and celebrate our high school graduates on Sunday, June 7. This is a significant moment for graduates and their families, and it is important for us to take a few moments to hear from them and pray for them.
Summer Worship Schedule
On Memorial Day weekend, May 24, we will begin our summer schedule. Our one worship gathering will be at 9:30 am, and there will be children’s ministries from nursery through kindergarten. We will also have classes for all ages from 10:45-11:30 am.
Campfire Cookout
Come roast a hot dog, marshmallows, and more at our annual Campfire Cookout in the parking lot! Kids can bring their bikes and other fun activities. Join us for this wonderful evening of fellowship on Wednesday, May 20 from 6:00-8:00 PM.
Family Movie Night

Easter
He is risen! Join us as we celebrate Christ’s resurrection at our 8:30am or 10:45am service. We will have donuts, coffee, milk and juice from 9:45am - 10:30am.
Good Friday Service
Plan to join us on April 3 at 7:00pm for our Good Friday Service. We will have child care for babies and toddlers and Good Friday activities for preschool aged kids on up. Adults will meet in the sanctuary for a time of Scripture reading, music, and communion.
Pinewood Derby
Everyone who builds a car at Kid Konnection will get a chance to send their car flying down the Pinewood Derby track! This will also be prize night for everyone who has participated in Kid Konnection by attending, learning the memory verse, and bringing their Bible. This fun night starts at 6:30 and goes until the last car races…hopefully before 8:00pm!

Up is Down. Right is Left. Cold is Hot. That’s right, we’re celebrating opposite day this whole month (or should we say, not celebrating? This could get confusing!) This series will give kids a chance to talk about the counter-culture things Jesus said. It sounds impossible to believe that struggles bring us closer to Jesus or that our enemies can teach us about love. However, these beautiful opposites remind us that a God we can’t see is always with us and that it’s better to follow Jesus than our own instincts. Happy Opposite Day!
Hot Chocolate Sunday
On Sunday, January 25, we will cancel classes for all ages from 9:45 - 10:30 am for a hot chocolate social. We invite you to join us for a casual time of fellowship.
We will still meet for worship at 8:30 and 10:45 am.
Money: Bible and Best Practices
Money. We need it. We want it. We worry about it. We complain about it. There is no getting around the importance of money in our lives. But, what does the Bible say about money? And what are some best practices that I can implement in my life to think about money and handle money in a way that honors God? That is what this class is all about!
Join us on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm for Money: Bible and Best Practices. This series will discuss things such as the goodness of wealth, but also the seductiveness if wealth. It will also spend four weeks on very practical advice, including: Taking control of your cash flow, investing wisely, managing your taxes, saving for retirement, and leaving a legacy.

Museums have the unique ability to transform learning! Instead of merely reading words on a page, we can experience them through all of our senses! A Day at the Museum is a series all about helping kids interact with the stories of Jesus and connecting them to God. Jesus’ life and early ministry helps all of us experience (see, hear . . . even taste!) and follow God in new, tangible, and real ways.
GriefShare - Tuesdays
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. Come celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Together we will listen to God’s Word and sing the songs we love that point us to Jesus.
Children's Christmas Program - Dec. 14 @ 6:00 PM
Join us as we ponder the meaning of the Christmas season at our Children’s Christmas program: The Best Christmas Song Ever. You will witness the joy of hearing our toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners sing, followed by a fantastic musical performance from our children. The evening will conclude with cookies and our children’s art gallery.
Advent 2025
Advent is “a time when God breaks in on us.” The first advent was when God himself took on flesh and entered our world. The second advent will be when Jesus Christ returns to completely redeem our world. In between those two advents, we remember, We celebrate. We anticipate.
To help us in this, we have a free Advent devotional available titled, “Darkness then Light.” We will preach a sermon on this theme on each of the four Sundays of Advent (Nov. 30, Dec. 7, Dec. 14, and Dec. 21). Then, in the week following, you can read the daily devotional to keep thinking about that theme.
Devotionals will be available in November.

Did you know that every day is full of adventures that we get to choose? Some adventures are small, like choosing which book to read. Others are bigger, like deciding how to react when a family member makes us upset. It’s not always easy to know what is best but there is hidden treasure you can take into every choice: wisdom. Wisdom is a valuable gift that helps people choose what’s best. Together we can choose wisdom, by not choosing sides, choosing our words carefully, choosing to do good, and choosing God!
